Cookery

Well, I finally got around to trying a recipe in the
Nigel Slater book the Mum got me a while back.

Sad to say: it was a fish recipe.

Now, let it be known that typically I don't eat fish
unless it is fish sticks, fried (fish n chips), tuna
(canned) or shrimp. However, periodically I get the
idea into my head that I should try to eat more fish
since it's "healthier". And every time...bleh!

I just can't cook fish worth a shit.

Eeep....rapidly tries to think what is really really good out of that book, the quick chicken supper with tarragon and white wine....the chocolate cake and EVEN BETTER the almond and apricot cake!

It was the fish with chili sauce (?). I just didn't cook it right probably, AND I'm not much of a fish person. I'm sure a lot of the others are good. No cake for me for a good while - - back on Atkins!
